This safari takes you to Tarangire National Park, where you’ll explore an area characterized by gently rolling hills along the Tarangire River, nestled in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. The park is predominantly covered by Acacia woodland and striking African Baobab trees, with expansive swamp areas in the southern region. Birdlife in Tarangire is exceptional, as it lies on a key migratory route between southern Africa and Europe, attracting a variety of migratory species.
The park is also home to abundant leopards and giraffes, but the most spectacular sight is the large herds of elephants that gather in the dry season to drink from the Tarangire River. With an abundance of herbivores like giraffes, impalas, dik-diks, and others, the park offers ample opportunities for wildlife sightings. In the late afternoon, we depart for Moshi/Arusha, concluding your memorable safari adventure.
